The beginnings of MG Model Plus date back to 1975, when craftsman Marcello Giorgetti began producing the then new 1:43 special models, originally as Hobby Tecnica, then as MG Model.

In 1995 Gabriele Pantosti joined MG Model. He has always followed the world of special models, as a collector and as contributor since the Seventies.

New product lines in various scales were developed alongside the original range, while the firm renamed itself to MG Model Plus. MG Model Plus' current catalogue shows up to 500 items, and they want to refine and increase their production even more, but forever remaining an artisan firm that creates models with passion, searching out and adopting the latest technologies to provide a final product of the highest quality.

Production is almost entirely done inside the firm, starting from the planning of the prototype to the drawing of decals and Photo Etched parts, from the machinery of parts by CAD/CAM to 3D model prototyping, from the moulds to obtain the main parts in resin to the final building of the models, the packaging and the shipping of the various items all around the world.  Always linked to Ferrari myth, from the beginning of 2003 MG Model Plus became Official Licensee.
