Like many "baby-boomers", Dennis Koleber built models growing up. Unlike many of his contemporaries, however, he never gave it up and eventually friends and collectors were offering to pay him for building model cars.  An art major in college and having been through several sports and racing cars, the prospect of being paid to build model cars was too great. So, Dennis quit his high-pressure management job, before having the obligatory heart attack, and started a new career building models for shops and brokers. Eventually, Dennis decided he needed to establish his own client list so he could build models full-time.

Over the past many years, Dennis has met and built for a number of drivers including: Jody Scheckter, Brian Redman, George Follmer, Hans Stuck, Hurley Haywood, Dan Gurney, David Hobbs, Denny Hulme, Joe Bussetta and others. He has also had the privilege of doing several limited edition series signed by drivers. In addition to drivers, he has had the pleasure of building models for many celebrities including Jay Leno, Dione Sanders, Emmett Smith, Kirk White and executives with General Motors, Chrysler and Firestone.

He has been fortunate enough to win over 350 awards in State, regional and National competitions including Master awards for Best Engine, Best Detail, Best Interior, Best Paint and several Best in Show awards. Dennis' work has been seen in Road and Track, Car and Driver, Vintage Motor Sport, Victory Lane, Fine Scale Modeler, and Scale Auto Enthusiast.  He has had the opportunity to write articles on model building and collecting.
